How to Export Customers from Housecall Pro
Moving to a new CRM starts with getting your customer list out of your old one. Housecall Pro lets you export your full customer list to a CSV file you can open in Excel or Google Sheets, then bring into your new system. Here is exactly how to do it.
Only team members set as Admins in Housecall Pro can export the Customers list. If you do not see the Export option, ask your account owner to give you Admin access or to run the export for you.

Open your Customers list
Log in to Housecall Pro and click Customers in the navigation bar at the top of your account.
Step 1: Click Customers in the top navigation bar. -
Open the Actions menu and choose Export
On the right side of the Customers screen, click the Actions button. In the drop-down that appears, select Export.
Step 2: Click Actions, then choose Export from the drop-down. -
Confirm your email and send the file
A window opens asking where to send the file. Double-check the email address shown, then click the blue Send file button.

Download the CSV from your email
Housecall Pro emails the file to the address you confirmed. Look for a message from notifications@housecallpro.com with your customer list attached as a CSV. It usually arrives within a few minutes. Open it, download the CSV, and you are ready to import.
Don't see the email?Give it up to an hour, then check your spam or junk folder. If it still has not arrived, open Housecall Pro and click the blue chat bubble in the corner to reach their support team.

Who can export customers from Housecall Pro?
Only team members listed as Admins can export the Customers and Jobs lists. If the Export option is missing, you likely do not have Admin permissions yet.
